In the latest show of its current season, the BCE delivered a gem of a show, the dark and solemn music of Tenebræ juxtaposed with the uniquely fitting poetry of modern songwriter, Bob Dylan. The stark beauty of the soloists and duets peppered throughout the performance showcased the immense talent this group has to work with. We all left the concert feeling at peace, inspired, and greatly looking forward to the Boston Choral Ensemble’s next show.

I was very impressed with the Boston Chorale Ensemble’s show. I enjoyed the music for it’s beautiful composition and excellent performance. I was so pleased by the creativity of choosing the Tenebrae and presenting it in a secular way with spiritual readings that both complimented the music and could appeal to anyone. The Ensemble is excellent all around and I would highly recommend attending one of their performances.
